We are committed to doing whatever we can to influence the
environment we live in. With that in mind, the following Environmental
Statement was drafted.

Environmental Statement

RJB Financial Services Ltd are independent financial advisers based in Lincolnshire.
We serve a number of both local businesses and private clients predominantly
based in Lincolnshire.

Through our everyday activities we recognise that we have an impact on the environment
and are committed where possible to reduce to those impacts.

As a company we have taken a conscious decision to manage our activities in a manner
that is environmentally responsible and has reviewed its practices to identify areas
for change and improvement.

We have adopted some key specific practices that aim to address the areas where we
have an environmental impact, these include:

• Journey planning to ensure that journeys are minimised and not
  duplicated unnecessarily
• Minimising energy use where possible by ensuring equipment, lighting and heating
  is turned off when not in use
• Minimising paper use through the use of double sided printing as standard and utilising
  electronic communications and documentation wherever possible

To take forward the environmental aims of the Company, we are committed to investigating the possibility of:

• sourcing of environmentally preferable office products for example using paper with a recycled
  content or from a FSC source
• using printers with an environmental policy which includes the use of recycled content or FSC paper, non-chlorine bleached and uses either vegetable or water based inks
• encouraging the office management to provide recycling facilities for the premises
• becoming a paperless office

As financial advisers, we have identified that the largest potential impact that we may have an influence upon, is that associated with the investments made by our clients.  We offer a full range of investments including access to ethical or ecological funds.

We are currently in the process of achieving an environmental management system in order to achieve BS 8555.
